OXOSSI™ was created to be the leading harbinger of the global intellectual revolution and a catalyst for social change. Designers Tai Rotan and Atu Nii-Owoo, first had the idea to elevate the consciousness of today's society by using fashion as a medium in July of 2003. OXOSSI's creators acknowledge and address the absence of positive and socially relevant figures being promoted in fashion and other mass media outlets.
